This Jaguar Watch Commemorates the Lightweight E-Type Car
Rahul Kalvapalle — August 15, 2014 — Fashion
This Jaguar watch, inspired by the highly limited-edition Jaguar Lightweight E-Type car, is the result of a collaborative effort between the automaker and the Bremont company. Bremond is producing six watches to complement the six cars Jaguar is producing. The watches will contain materials from the car production line.
The watch's face closely resembles the E-Type car's tachometer. It has a black dial and red hour and the same red quadrant that adorns the car's speedometer. The six o'clock spot in each watch is stamped with a corresponding chassis number for each of the six cars.
The central band of the watch's white gold case is made of aluminum scraps left over from making the cars' panels.
