I've heard of banana boats before, but Jacob Dahlstrup's 'Banana Schooner' is not what I envisioned. It's not at all like the beach resort version, which you can ride to your heart's content. Dahlstrup's banana boats are actually made from real bananas.
Including cute, mini pirate vessels, Jacob Dahlstrup's work is currently being displayed at the Shoreditch Town Hall in London. I wonder how often he has to change the bananas before they become rotten!
