The Jabra Solemate Portable Player is Compact and Rugged
Meghan Young — September 5, 2012 — Art & Design
The Jabra Solemate portable speaker is inspired by a shoe. The bottom of a running shoe, to be exact. A direct competitor of the Jawbone Jambox, it features the ribbed aesthetic of a sneaker's sole. Considering that such footwear often takes a beating, the Jabra Solemate beautifully visualizes its splash-, dust-, sweat- and shock-resistance to its customers.
Compact and equipped with Bluetooth capabilities, the Jabra Solemate portable speaker has a simple interface, speakerphone functionality and about ten hours of battery life. Additionally, the sole is removable to reveal 3.5mm line-in cable and the 'heel' sports a carrying tab. The Jabra Solemate portable speaker is available in two colors, black and white, which will complement anything.
