This Spoof Video Imagines What the Apple iWatch Might Be Like
Laura McQuarrie — June 2, 2014 — Tech
With wearable technology on the rise and Apple's WWDC 2014 conference kicking off today, there have been numerous rumors circulating about the Apple iWatch. While the Apple iWatch seems to be a very real project that Apple has indeed been working on, this spoof begs the question: is it necessary?
In this mock Apple video, the giant brand adopts the slogan 'Because We Can,' and attempts to get the iWatch to do everything. Instead of just being a watch, this ridiculous device is basically like having a smaller version of an iPhone strapped to your wrist. However, in this case, its micro size and positioning on the body make it extremely awkward and completely render it nearly useless for tasks like gaming, charging and listening to music via headphones.
