At today's Apple iPad Event, the popular electronics company just revealed its new iPad Air. This will be Apple's fifth-generation iPad and with it comes a design that is 20% thinner, lighter and packed with a powerful Retina display.
The iPad Air uses some of the same technology as the latest iPhone 5S, including the A7 chip and a M7 motion co-processor. Other new specifications for the new Apple iPad include a "5-megapixel iSight camera with 1080p video capture, a Facetime HD front-facing camera and dual microphones."
These features are similar to previous versions of the iPad, but this new design is lighter, only 0.3 inches thick and has an even faster processor. The 16 GB model with Wi-Fi is priced at $499 and will go on sale November 1st.
