The Instagram Office by Gehry Partners is Exceptionally Whimsical
Kalin Ned — June 21, 2018 — Art & Design
Frank Gehry's architectural firm designed the new Instagram office and it is a wonderland with ambition and "ample photo opportunities." In the spirit of the social media platform, this comes as no surprise. Launched in 2010 with only three employees, the photo-sharing app has since acquired over 290 workers.
The new Instagram office is located in New York City and boasts "a soundproof media studio," as well as an amazingly design-friendly interior. From chromatic half-dome indoor pavilions to a full-fledged nature corner with a vegetative wall and a small terrarium, Gehry Partners did an absolutely marvelous job in recreating the company's cheerful attitude with interior design. Following the opening of the new Instagram office, the social media channel shares that it has "plans for future expansion."
