MyBabyGym is the name of an infant-training app that helps both kids and parents make the most of "Tummy Time."
The app uses computer vision to analyze the positions and movements that an infant is making and makes adjustments to the animations, audio clips and verbal cues in a way that encourages an infant to lift their head—which strengthens the neck and back muscles.
Tummy Time Training sessions begin with one-minute intervals and in total, progress to just five minutes. The MyBabyGym app was unveiled at this year's CES 2017 and recognized by The Bump Best of Baby Tech Awards, which noted: "When a session ends, parents can review the analyzed session data and track their baby’s progress, just like FitBit." As well as being able to monitor progress, proud parents may also choose to celebrate successes by sharing milestones with friends and family.
