This incredibly detailed and epically awesome Indiana Jones cake was for a themed birthday party featured on the Green Jello blog. The tiered cake is so well done it should be preserved as an archeological wonder in a museum somewhere. Or, you know, eaten in its entirety.
The Indiana Jones cake was decorated with buttercream frosting and fondant ropes. The rocks at the base are actually M & Ms. The cake features LEGO accessories, including a crack-whipping archeologist at the top (near a pretzel bridge) and a high-speed chase over flowing blue 'waters.' Red and green snakes are visible and green foliage flourishes are dotted all over the cake. There are even small plastic trees among the rocks.
