Incharge has announced the launch of a new banking services app dedicated to accommodating the needs of Ukrainian refugees. The service will be offered for free to anyone that is currently fleeing Ukraine due to the Russian invasion. The new app will offer a range of banking services as well as provide users with their own virtual debit cards.
The new service will be offered on both Apple and Android devices, which is where Incharge's other services are provided. However, to increase the accessibility of the app, the company has also opened a progressive web app (PWA) version, which means refugees without a phone can also register for the service, provided they have one-time access to a computer.
“The conflict in Ukraine has forced many people to flee their homes and seek refuge in neighboring countries,” said Incharge director Enrique Espinosa. “We want to help these people by offering them free account services, which will make it easier for them to access their money and get by in these difficult times.”
