The Oakley Factory Team is the experimental sub-label by the American sports brand and it works in collaboration with streetwear imprint Brain Dead to bring attention to the new Ibex model. This is a new technical outdoor sneaker with rugged elements.
The shoe's upper is defined by two specific sections with the inner area made from ripstop fabric materials. The silhouette is a no-sew model with overlaying accents and textural hairy mesh materials. The other section is the outer exoskeleton. This outer cage wraps itself all around the shoe and it is connected together by a web made of nylon lace. It weaves in and out of the different panels and this section keeps it all in place.
