Drone manufacturer company HevenDrones has launched its first-ever hydrogen-powered commercial drone called the H2D55. The commercial drone is the first in an organized lineup with 3 Hydrogen fueled drones. HevenDrone CEO and founder Bentzion Levinson spoke about the launch, saying: “We are delighted to bring hydrogen-powered drones to the global market and we are excited to see the expanding range of use-cases across numerous industries.”
This commercial drone has 5 times greater energy compared to the common lithium battery-powered drone and with a better flight endurance of 100 minutes and payload capacity of 7 kg as well better for the environment in contrast to lithium battery-powered drones. In addition, hydrogen fuel cells will be more cost-efficient in the long term. The commercial drone will be shown at the International Defense Exhibition and Conference in Abu Dhabi.
