London design studio Studio Varey Architects completes the Huron House, which is a Victorian terraced home that is meant to be filled with natural lighting. Resting in the city's Notting Hill area, it is defined by its timber-framed skylights that are constructed to help catch natural sun rays. The renovation started at the ground-floor with the original goal to replace the kitchen and elevate the house and the garden's connection.
The studio explains the thought process to Dezeen, stating "Our goal was to create an open-plan living space and bring lots of natural light into the ground floor, helping it to feel more inviting and better suited to entertaining friends and family. We wanted to ensure this natural light was captured through the architecture and design of the spaces."
