The Amsterdam-based exhibition and production area has launched this amazing live interactive website. The space is home to amazing pieces of contemporary art and needed a website to emulate its modern, arty style.
The homepage takes us to a trolley that is wheeled around the space and photographed from above.
Various elements on the trolley add functionality to the site. The screen on the left provides up-to-date information about W139. The mirrored ball plays a video of the reflection of whatever is happening in the gallery when you click on it.
The most exciting feature is that visitors to the website can interact with the printer on the trolley. You choose a file from your desktop and the printer will output it on the trolley in the gallery. When the site next updates (you get an email to tell you when to expect to see your piece), your image will appear in the pile of pages next to the printer.
A truly amazing website that gives visitors the ideal opportunity to get your artwork displayed in a modern art gallery.
