Local design studio Bangkok Tokyo Architecture is the mind behind the House K located in Thailand, which is defined by its large silver curtain and red brickwork detail complete with an exposed framing made from concrete materials. It is home to a mother and son who were looking to renovate their family home. It features three floors -- all of which have a different function.
The ground floor has an en-suite bedroom for the mother and the first floor has shared living details, the third is for the son. Speaking about the design, the senior architect of the studio Poom Prakongpetch explains, "We wanted to expose the most typical building materials and construction method found in the surrounding context. This way, the architecture becomes comprehensible and accessible to everyone."
