The House in Palabritas Beach by Metropolis is 60s-inspired, and is located in Lima, Peru. This oceanside home uses a bold color palette of white and red, and from the front of the house it appears to be only one storey. At the back of the house lies a red tiled pool and a white rectangular structure surrounds it. From the back you can see directly through the house to the dining room and kitchen, which are full of more red accents. The architects have added unusual designs like the gray curved wall at the front entrance, and the gray-gridded panel along the side.
Metropolis is an architectural firm from Peru, and its team for this project included architect Jose Orrego, structural engineer Jorge Avendano and architect Anahi Bastian. Metropolis has created this unique beach house that combines bold colors with retro designs.
