If a traveler hasn't packed all of the workout essentials they need into their suitcase, a trip to the hotel gym usually provides access to all the equipment they need for a well-rounded workout. However, a new concept from Hilton called 'Five Feet to Fitness' is hoping to help guests get fit without requiring them to leave their room.
Five Feet to Fitness rooms are equipped with a Wattbike, a Gym Rax training station and The Fitness Kiosk touchscreen, which provides access to a range of workout routines and tutorials with themes like Cardio, Recovery, Endurance and more.
Across the hospitality industry, hotels are looking to provide guests with all of the equipment necessary to make sure they can maintain their fitness routines. While some chains now offer in-suite yoga classes or stationary bikes, others have launched personalized running programs that double as city tours.
