For Kara Koskowich, a high school senior, prom was definitely a time for creativity. She created a homework prom dress out of scraps of her old assignments. The intricately woven and darted dress is shockingly chic. The Post-It Notes add a nice pop of color against the classic white sheets with black ink.
Dorothy Graham, a friend of Koskowich also decided to rock an offbeat prom look. She opted for shopping bags to create hers. The classic prom look has often been revamped to show off greater personality, have some fun, or just design something awesome. In the past candy-wrappers have been the material of choice, but with this emerging homework idea, that very well may get switched up.
Though it took days to create the detailed designs, for Koskowich and Graham their prom idea was definitely worth it.
