The Holy Stool series demonstrates how a basic object can be simply delightful. Made from lovely maple wood, the petite perches have been executed with a subtly playful design and enhanced with sections of color.
The UM Project collection consists of a set of three stools of various heights as a short, a medium and a barstool version. Each one has been given three supports that angle whimsically outwards in order to establish sufficient stability.
The fairly minimalist seats assume great added flair with their abstract vibrant treatment. Matte lacquer covers most of the natural timber material, but it looks as if the Holy Stools' legs have been dipped in duo-tone colors of black, white, gray, blue or fluorescent reddish orange. They would brighten up homes, offices and schools alike.
