A Hollywood Starbucks location has recently taken over a 1930s gas station -- and maintained its original retro glamor. Although the chain is known for its chic and homey style, Starbucks senior store design manager Jon Alpert says, “We wanted to be respectful to the site, respectful to the building, and we feel we’ve hit that mark.”
Bright and simple with a ton of natural light seeping through do to the presence of large windows, this Hollywood Starbucks will become a tourist attraction in no time. It took over two years to complete, and for good reason. Most of the original design has been upheld with the only addition being a pylon sign that complements the 'electric feel' of the site. It also features an outdoor space.
