Food Lion Feeds Holidays Without Hunger Launched Meal Boxes

The Food Lion Feeds Holidays Without Hunger campaign has been launched by the brand to encourage consumers to pitch in and help feed those who are going hungry this season. The campaign includes specially designed boxes that customers can purchase from any of the brand's existing banner stores for $6, which be donated to Feeding America partner food banks or partner feeding agencies. The campaign is running from November 6 through December 10, 2024 across the 10 states that Food Lion operates across and will help to continue the organization's bid to provide meals for those in need.

Manager of Food Lion Feeds at Food Lion Kevin Durkee commented on the Food Lion Feeds Holidays Without Hunger campaign saying, "At Food Lion, we believe no one should have to choose between dinner and rent or gas and groceries. Every family deserves a nourishing meal with their loved ones during the holiday season. By giving the gift of meals, our customers’ support creates a meaningful impact and helps nourish our neighbors and their families experiencing hunger.”
