Bolt is a San Francisco-based startup that specializes in manufacturing hi-tech electric motorbikes. It also happens to use the same type of lithium-ion batteries as Tesla, which sets the bikes quality on a high pedestal. Founder Nathan Jauvtis started Bolt out of his garage and it has since grown into a more established business with orders for the $5000 vehicles increasing steadily.
Simple yet powerful, the first hi-tech electric motorbike in the line is dubbed Bolt M-1. It works in tangent with a smartphone app, which negates the need for a key. There's even a USB port for charging the phone when on-the-go. It's available in both economy and sport mode editions depending on what people want.
