LEGO presents the new Himeji Castle set that honors one of the most iconic buildings in Japan. It is a historical space that rests on a hilltop and has been a standing structure since 1333. It has notably survived several natural disasters and even a bombing during World War II.
It was created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the castle since it was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The set is made up of 2,125 pieces that once build, create an authentic architectural look. It even has asymmetric walls, intricate pathways of the stricture, and turrets. Additionally, the new set is set to join the brand's Architecture series, which higlights heritage-inspired spaces perfect for “any lover of architecture, Japanese history, or travel,” notes LEGO.
