Sneaking in a late night reading session under the blankets with a flashlight is almost something of the past with the growing popularity of tablets among children; the 'Hide & Eek' book hopes to bring that bit of nighttime magic to their lives by bridging the gap between classic picture books and technology. First of all, 'Hide & Eek' requires a flashlight to work. When one is shone onto a page of the book, a whole new image is revealed.
Created by Knock Knock in collaboration with Rebecca Sutherland and Hat-Trick, 'Hide & Eek' are not only exciting for its clever concept, but also the story being told. As reported by Fast Co. Design, "Ink is essentially sandwiched between two fused sheets of paper, so it only appears when the page is lit."
