Oculus, the virtual reality company, has a vested interest in the success of VR content, so it's success with the VR short film 'Henry' is a major achievement. The adorable short has received the Emmy for Outstanding Original Interactive Program, making it the first ever VR program to win the prestigious television award.

Oculus' Emmy-winning short film is about the eponymous Henry the hedgehog and his adventure to find friends with whom he can celebrate his birthday. Making friends is difficult for Henry, since he loves to hug people despite his prickly spines. Though the films' immersion is what won it the award, spectators thankfully can't feel Henry's sharp needles.

The short film is directed by Ramiro Lopez Dau and narrated by Elijah Wood.
