'HeatGenie' Cans Will Warm Beverages in Just Two Minutes
Taking hot beverages on the go can be tricky, requiring either a high-quality travel mug or a stop at a local cafe, but the HeatGenie is a new piece of technology aiming to make it easier. The self-heating can can bring beverages to hot in as little as two minutes without the need for an external power source, giving brands the ability to sell their beverages in more locations without having to sacrifice any degree of consumer experience.
The HeatGenie technology is intuitive, even though the technology is more or less without precedent. Consumers just twist a tab at the top of the can to activate the chemical heating mechanism on the inside of the can, and within two minutes their hot beverage will be ready to drink.
Not only is the tech great for coffee, but it opens the door for canned soup, sake, and hot cider as well.
