Shiftall Inc. has created the 'HaritoraX,' a wireless, battery-powered full-body tracking experience for virtual reality headsets. This device is compatible with wired headsets, such as the 'HTC Vive,' as well as wireless headsets, such as the 'Meta Quest 2.' For wireless use, the HaritoraX features a built-in battery that can fully power the device for up to 10 hours. On top of this, the battery charges through a single cable because each node on the HaritoraX is connected via a wire.
The HaritoraX has five main components: one waistband, two thigh straps, and two shin straps. By combining these five nodes with the headset and handheld controllers of a VR headset, each limb is accurately tracked in virtual reality. The HaritoraX is unique in the sense that it is a wireless solution, whereas most full-body tracking devices require one, if not several, USB cables.
