Wingstop is Offering a New Harissa Lemon Pepper Wing Sauce Flavor
Katherine Pendrill — May 14, 2019 — Lifestyle
Temperatures are heating up across the US and so are the flavors at Wingstop thanks to the chain's newest wing sauce additions: Harissa Lemon Pepper and Ancho Honey Glaze.
With the debut of its new Harissa Lemon Pepper and Ancho Honey Glaze wing sauce flavors, Wingstop aims to inject a little bit of spice into its chicken wing menu. The Harissa Lemon Pepper delivers the zestiness of hot roasted red peppers, while the Ancho Honey Glaze has a more smokey taste that comes from the use of ancho chili peppers. Both are limited-edition wing sauce flavors.
As consumers are exposed to more global dishes, unique flavor combinations incorporating ingredients like harissa are becoming increasingly common at chain restaurants.
