Almost like a roll of cardboard dangling from a spool of yarn, the Monsieur Hanging Lamp from Folklore is a chic yet minimalist take on the pendant lamp.
Designed and made in France, the light tube is constructed partially from French beechwood, which was left naturally unpainted or glossed, and partially from heather grey wool felt, finished off with 3,000mm of cable. The look is soft and subtle, yet strikingly interesting in its arts and crafts type of style. Light from within gets directed by the tube design, moving and changing direction slowly as the pendant twirls and sways gently in the air.
The Monsieur Hanging Lamp from Folklore has a simplistic, unfinished appeal.
