These gorgeous handbags from Iceland's Unnurwear are made using farmed Icelandic Salmon and African Perch. It's not as bizarre as it seems; apparently the sea-leather, as it is called, performs as well as other leathers and does not smell fishy!
I guess eel-skin is known as a luxury material, so why not salmon?
The bags are all designed by founder Unnur Fridriksdottir of Iceland.
Implications - Emily Sandifer is the talented photographer who shot the featured lookbook for Unnurwear's bag collection. The bags come in all sorts of colors such as royal blue, forest green and different shades of brown. The featured collection is great for autumn and winter where darker shades are often more preferred. The bags range in shapes and sizes and also have different types of handles ranging from all fish-leather to chunky chains.
