Many magazine racks are designed to deal with only a handful of reading materials, but not Lucien Gumy's Magazine Rack. This item is able to accommodate quite a thick stack of journals, periodicals and other print media for those with plenty of subscriptions.
Metal was used to make the entirety of the piece with folding techniques, giving it three dimensions and a sturdy structure. It may be difficult to appreciate from this particular angle, but the base of the book stand is sloped. Two high sides offer support to teetering piles of publications as they slide towards the rear corner with gravity. The user has the option of filling Gumy's Magazine Rack with horizontal or vertical arrangements, or even of using it to prop up current issues.
