Parisian design label POOL designs the new GRID Contract collection for French label Petite Friture. The series is a modular furniture system that is designed with inspiration drawn from Bauhaus. The GRID Contract capsule features a range of modules including corner armchairs, chairs, a stool, armchairs, a coffee table, and a two seater sofa -- all of which could be rearranged into a series of configurative forms to fill any office, lobby, or domestic setting.
The series of GRID modules can be attached and detached to one another to allow for as many or few structures to come together to fit the space it fills. Each furniture piece is made from black tubular steel legs which hold up a strapped wooden foundation before it is made comfortable with round cushions and upholstery.
