The Red and Green Burger Offerings From McDonalds Advertise Angry Birds
Alyson Wyers — May 20, 2016 — Lifestyle
In an effort to promote the new Angry Birds Movie, some McDonalds restaurants in China are selling a green burger and a red burger. The colored buns mimic the animated plumage made popular by the mobile game.
The Naughty Green Pork Burger features a burger bun that has been died lime green, shredded lettuce, an egg, pork patty and special sauce containing jalapeno peppers.
The Angry Red Burger has dyed red buns and double chicken patties. They also come in a bird-shaped promotional box, that are red as well.
While the red and green burger coloring might appear not very tasty to some, the menu items will likely drum up increased interest in the summer film.
