Project Glass is Googles' Recent Release
Calan Panchoo — April 9, 2012 — Tech
Google has finally emerged from their sinister technology cave headquarters with news of their heads-up display Androids glasses, now known as Project Glass.
Though there is no word yet on when the glasses will hit the street, or for how much, they promise to do a lot more than just make you look like a sci-fi lover.
Just like a smartphone, the glasses will respond to goings on in your location, such as subway closures, and notify you of your friend’s text messages and let you respond through voice recognition. The glasses can give you reminders, map out routes for you, take photos and even record live video.
Google is currently looking for input on their project, which suggests they have more than just an aesthetic prototype, but are testing a working one.
