Google 'Instant Apps' is a new project that will change the way Android users and developers are able to make the most of apps. As its name suggests, the new project will allow Android apps to instantly run without having to be installed on a device and consume valuable space. These all-new Instant Apps will be accessible through Google searches, shared links and NFC.
Rather than having to build new standalone apps, developers will be able to modify existing code in order to take advantage of this new functionality. Currently, Google is working with partners like BuzzFeed, Disney and Hotel tonight to develop and launch some of the first Instant Apps.
Other innovations announced at this year's Google I/O include Google Home, Google Assistant, as well as the Duo and Allo apps.
