A recently revived Google Assistant feature will let users know where they parked and help them locate their vehicle. The feature was recently showcased by Android police and allows users to see a card within Google Assistant which shows where they parked their car. This feature can operate without requiring users to interact with the app, setting it apart from other apps like Maps. Users can also input their parking location manually to get more accurate information on where they parked their vehicle.
The app functions similar to a previous Google Now feature, by implementing users' location history to approximate where they stopped driving and began walking. However, the Google Assistant feature will not be able to locate exactly where the car is, especially inside larger parking facilities.
