Amazon Studios prepares to launch its upcoming Good Night Oppy documentary on November 23rd on Amazon Prime. It shared a trailer of the anticipated film and tells the story of NASA's Opportunity rover. It is also known as 'Oppy' as it was created lovingly.
The documentary is directed by Ryan White, who is also known for his work in Assassins along with Angela Bassett who is recognized for her roles in Black Panther and Contact. NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab also played a role in helping with the project as it shares archival footage and knowledge of the rover's mission. Opportunity is one of the two rovers that NASA landed on the surface of Mars back in 2004.
