Jose Cuervo Taps Artist Gonzalo Lebrija for its 2022 Collector's Box

José Cuervo's Reserve de la Familia, a premium collection of artisanal small-batch tequilas, announced the release of its 2022 collector's box, by internationally renowned artist Gonzalo Lebrija. Known for his successful career in photography, video, sound, and sculpture, Lebrija's work encapsulates the aesthetic of time and, as such, was chosen as this year's artist collaborator for Reserva de la Familia.

A custom art piece, called "the glazes", adorns each box of Reserva de la FamiliaExtra Añejo, depicting colors and shapes characteristic of the agave landscape as it progresses throughout the day. During the creation of the 2022 collectors' box, Lebrija studied agave fields, taking photographs in various light conditions to create a color palette that evoked the aesthetics of the agave plants from dawn to dusk.

Reserva de la Familia Extra Añejo is now available all over the United States in its 2022 box collection, bottled at 40% ABV.
