Fashion house Dior has brought attention to the Gold House concept store, which has a dynamic and dramatic design and is located in Bangkok. The space is surrounded by facades which are made to reflect the brand's headquarters in Paris.
The concept store is set on what was once the carpark in the Ploenchit district and it is named after the Gold House due to the tonal facade. The store is a mirror-clad design entirely surrounded by a false facade wall that is detailed in one million golded golden tiles that are detailed with 300 windows to replicate the Parisian space. This towers over the store and covers two courtyards and a covered patio for the store's cafe.
