MSCHF teamed up with Jimmy Fallon to create the 'Gobstomper,' a plain white sneaker inspired by the popular gobstopper hard candy. The Gobstomper sneaker takes inspiration from the colorful style of the candy. While a gobstopper starts out as a solid white sphere, the more it is licked, the more a rainbow hue of colors will be revealed under the shell. The shoe functions in a similar way, though it does not need to be licked to change colors.
The more that people wear the MSCHF Gobstomper, the more its thin white outer layer will deteriorate, revealing a unique hue of colors underneath. Additionally, this color rainbow can change over time with continual use, similar to the process of eating the candy.
Interested consumers can pick up the MSCHF Gobstomper only via the MSCHF Sneakers application on the Google Play and iOS App Store, respectively.
