GM has seen the future and it is the Segway. GM and Segway came up with a two wheeled electric car called the PUMA, or Personal Urban Mobility Accessibility.
The GM PUMA car should be able to reach top speeds of 35 mph with a 35 range. The cars would be networked to allow communication between the car and that humongous dump truck barreling down on you. GM has announced that this first version is basically a framework from which they will hang plastic body panels to give the PUMA some extra pizazz. The PUMA is designed to function in bike lanes, which are slim to none in most American cities and often disrespected.
