Paola Navone is pushing the boundaries of exhibition design with her project at Milan design week which can be categorized as a giveaway exhibition of sorts. Having collected many unique items over the course of many years, the designer has decided to gift them to the general public during the Take It or Leave It exhibition. On display are even some rare prototypes designed by Navone for Alessi. The event was organized in collaboration with New York media company The Slowdown and curator Daniel Rozensztroch.
There is a lottery taking place on three of the days that the giveaway exhibition is on. Visitors can book timed reservations and once they receive a numbered lottery ticket, they will venture into the exhibition, find the item with the corresponding number, and decide whether they are taking it or leaving it.
