While booze is often referred to as 'hair of the dog,' the designers behind this gin packaging clearly had another animal in mind. The anamorphic branding displays a snake coiled around a glass. The Jink's high quality London dry gin features serpents in a number of places on the bottle and on its gin packaging.
From Spanish designers Erques Torres and Julia Gavalda, the concept behind this branding is that there is a gradual evolution from one type of organism to another. A smaller version of the reptilian representation is also on the back of the bottle, and an even tinier slithery image can be seen on the interior of the bottle. The black and white design for Doctor Jink gives the gin packaging a retro feel as well.
