This E. Tautz Fall Collection Updates London Looks with Geometric Style
Laura McQuarrie — November 4, 2014 — Fashion
The E. Tautz Fall 2014 menswear collection is full of geometric style and subdued colors that are a departure from the psychedelic looks that have been shown in previous shows. The fashion collection for men takes inspiration from London in the 18th century, which can be seen in dark gentlemanly suits that could even be seen as strict in some cases.
Strong geometric patterns come across throughout the collection, in both classic and contemporary ways. Many of the garments played with volume, giving sweaters and jackets a loose roominess. One of the most interesting aspects of the collection is that students from the Royal School of Needlework were commissioned to create appliqué flower badges to adorn some of the suit jackets and other outerwear pieces.
