Gently Used by Ryan McNamara is currently the new art installation at the Mary Boone Gallery in Uptown Manhattan. Gently Used features mannequin arms, legs, props and recycled costumes from his previous performances. Pieces date back as far as 2008 and give new life to the once thrown away pieces.
The lighting, timed impeccably to cast shadows and shade on particular areas, is aimed to deny a sightseer from getting the best Instagram photo.
