Tom Sachs Drops the New General Purpose Shoe with NikeCraft
New York-based creative Tom Sachs continues to grow his partnership with Nike with the brand new NikeCraft General Purpose shoe. The silhouette is described to be an “ordinary shoe for extraordinary people” and speaks about the collaboration with Nike, stating “I got involved with Nike in the beginning because we wanted to make a sculpture that everyone could wear. It’s a tool for everyday life; it’s democratic.”
The shoe has a three-piece molded cup sole unit and signature donning straps along with a microfiber collar. It also has a breathable knit material complete with a simplistic off-white hue at the upper. It is then detailed with blue accents at the pull tabs and rests on top of a gym midsole.
