If you have a knack for killing every kind of plant life you come in contact with, GardenIn is a home gardening kit that will make it seem as though you have a green thumb. The indoor kit is designed to be fully self-sustaining, so that a user never actually has to water the herbs and spices they grow. Every so often, the water in GardenIn's system does need to be changed, but a visible alert flashes to make it apparent.
The easy-to-use kit comes pre-assembled out of the box, with seeds pre-planted—it just needs some exposure to sunlight and some fresh water to get growing. Appealing to homeowners without balconies or other outdoor areas, the indoor planter is compact and would barely take up any space on a kitchen counter.
Launched as a project on Kickstarter, a small group of just 48 contributors pledged over £7,000 to help bring this gardening product to the masses.
