Designers from the Netherlands known as Waarmakers have created a bag that makes going through one's garbage much easier. Feast your heart out, garbage pickers!
The premise of the bag is to promote sharing, recycling and waste prevention, which are all noble goals. Each bag is made with transparency to expose the contents with the hope to give garbage a second chance. Instead of heading to a landfill, this initiative wants to give garbage purpose again.
The title of the bags is actually quite clever. Goedzak means "soft-hearted" in Dutch. And when the word is separated into "goed" and "zac", the words meanings are "good" and "bag" respectively.
One man's trash is another man's treasure, and this garbage reduction effort hopes to help actualize this!
