The 35XV Residences by FXFOWLE Architects is a Luxury New York Building
Meghan Young — November 25, 2014 — Art & Design
FXFOWLE Architects has outdone itself with the 35XV Residences. A luxury development that is split into two distinct parts, the building will be used not only as a condo, but also as a highschool. Specifically, the neighboring Xavier High School will extend onto this premises for additional space. Those are some lucky students.
Located in New York City, FXFOWLE Architects focused on giving the building a unique cantilevered silhouette. This is seen only in the top half, which is predominantly made out of glass. The bottom half is constructed out of granite and rises six stories above street level.
FXFOWLE Architects' mixed-use 35XV Residences is set to be completed by 2015, bringing another landmark to the Big Apple.
