Design studio RIES' latest furniture line collection dubbed Alpina Collection #01 features tables and chairs designed specifically with vectors in mind, so that the pieces related to the spaces they are in with minimalistic lines and angles. The pieces are sleek and simple making use of modular forms, connectivity in shape and raw materials.
Each of the pieces featured in the Alpina Collection #01 are created using expertly placed steel rods that make use of negative spaces and vectors in the structural design. The chairs and tables both leave open spaces in the design, with the metallic rods acting as the perimeter. The negative space allows for open areas that allows the layout in the background to become a part of the aesthetic of the furniture.
