The new Alu collection of furniture boasts an artful design and it was created by the team at Archive for Space. The inspiration stems from the look and function of paper as scrolls have usually been pressed fiber pulp or soft papyrus over the years. All of these papers hold stories, personal details, thoughts, and more.
This serves as the base notion of the furniture presented by Béton Brut. The structures are made by hand using aluminum sheets and it features three products in total. This includes the Stool 001, Bench 001, and Seat 001. Thee material is finished in a minimal aesthetic that is adorned with a patina over time as unfinished and finished metals develop natural oxidation layers over time.
